Remote learning requires parental support to ensure student learning and academic success. Most 2nd graders already know how to use an iPad for games but remote learning is more than playing games on apps. Students need to know how to log on to Canvas and Zoom and how to access learning resources.Especially in the beginning an adult should assist the student in navigating Canvas and Zoom. Students are responsible for completing their assigned work just as they would be in an in-person classroom.
